Hello

My name is Cooper Smith. I was born in raised in Tampa and have had the fantastic home club of Tampa Palms G&CC. My dad, Brian Smith, has been a tour caddy for over 30 years, and he is the reason I got into the game. Growing up around tour pros was an unbelievable experience, and after the first time I walked a practice round with him, I knew I wanted to play golf on the PGA Tour. I played my first three years at the University of North Florida with redshirting as a freshman, then transferred to the University of South Florida for my final two years. I have never been a world beater. Growing up, I was always the small kid. But the progression I have seen in my own game on a consistent basis has given me the confidence and belief that I can be successful in this game. No matter what, I am going to give my full effort to this game for as long as I can play it. Hopefully, that is for about another 30 years! Thank you for being part of my journey, SGo!,
